I had clear
Martin’s present since I knew he was coming. When looking for the right fabrics
to use, this animal piece just fitted perfectly with his parents’ personality
and the way they’ll raise him. I've already showed you parts of the blanket in this post
talking about a bias tape tutorial and in this “work in progress” post. Today I
can finally show you the final result. I hope you like it.

Inspiración otoñal: proyectos con hojas
Fuente: eHow
Autumn is
here! Shorter cold and rainy days are waiting for us, perfect for staying home
dinking hot beverages and crafting! And what is the most typical image of this
new season? The fallen tree leaves!!! Here you have some inspiration projects
based on them for all the family. Do you like autumn? I have to recognize that
the end of the summer makes me feel a bit sad but many nice things happen in autumn
as well, do we make a list?

Textured Shawl - Uno de mis primeros KAL
I love KALs
(Knit ALong). By an organized KAL I’ve knitted: my Tulip Tank Top, my Proyecto Final, my Deep end Shawl or my City Cape. One of the first KAL I participated in
was this Textured Shawl organized by Things to
knit in 2013: you can check the
materials needed and the pattern here. With its different stitches, it is quite funny
to knit and affordable for non-experienced knitters. I made in my fetish color:
mustard!

¿Me dais alguna idea?
¡Buen finde!
This summer we have organized the 3rd edition of the knitting workshop as part of the activity calendar we plan for the celebration week in my boyfriend’s mother’s birth town in Soria. Two years ago, we learned how to cast the stitches on, the right stitch and who to bind off the project by knitting this cowl. Last year we consolidated the knowledge of the previous year by knitting this mittens. This year we have progressed in our knitting skills by learning the purl stitch and make this bags. My pupils are so skilled and the final projects so nice, each one with its own style, don't you think?

Sello y etiquetas personalizadas: el toque definitivo
Just before
leaving for my annual leave I received a wonderful package from Charo Hernández
with my new fabric labels and stamp. I’ve had in my mind this idea for a long
time: for very little money you have the perfect finishing touch for your
projects. Don’t you think?
