Some weeks
ago I told you I had a very special job to do. My grandma’s sister Aurora needs
a crocheted phone case and I posted you some of the nicest ideas I found on
internet (you can check them here). Finally I did none of them, I discovered the
tulip stitch and everything else was over. This is the final result. For the
tulip stitch I followed this videotutorial and for the wave binding this one. I
lined the case with a beige fabric and I’ve sewed a wood colored button for
closing it with a crocheted loop. I hope she'll like it!

Inspiración para una funda de móvil a crochet

This has
been a busy week. Due to job and pleasure trips I’ve taken several planes to
different European cities. In fact I’m right now in Paris spending some days
with friends. Not being at home makes me difficult to keep on working on my
craft projects. However there is always a space in the luggage for a ball of
yarn and a crochet hook (if you’re planning to bring your needles or hooks in
the plane with you, check this post with my personal experience and some nice
tips). In fact, I have a special job to do, easy to bring with me: my grandma’s
sister Aurora needs a crochet mobile phone case. She’s 98 and since two months
is living in a retirement house. It’s being difficult for her to get used to her
new home, so I want to find a nice and funny idea for her next phone case to
make her a bit happier. Here you have some of the cutest I’ve found. What do
you think?
